Goals and Objectives

The focus of CREATE is the development and implementation of a systems-based research program covering the life-cycle of the construction process for high technology manufacturing facilities, from programming to the start of manufacturing.

This is accomplished through a process of Knowledge Management. Information is available everywhere. The key is to acquire that information (determine its content), filter the gathered information (determine the quality) for the intended purpose, and then catalog (determine the relevance) for a usable product. When integrated into a company, that provides leverage for improving operations.

The results are delivered (providing access for the worker) in a usable form so that the knowledge can be applied by the company to make an impact on the bottom line. Feedback from the company to CREATE is essential to determine the appropriate content, quality and relevance to further improve the information value.
